# Algorand Defi Vote

Hi all. I’m just a simple member of Tinyman’s governance. But I wanted to ask if any of you have social if you’d help me spread awareness of two key proposals that require community backing:

Mostly it’s getting user’s eye’s on the proposals that is the difficult part. Like several areas of Algorand’s defi we are in a bit of a hibernation mode with the broader market being what it is right now. I for one think that defi is a very important part of Algorand’s growth and I think that the stronger our defi platforms the stronger Algorand is.

If any of you are involved in our defi, or are willing to share links to one key vote we need some support for to head to an onchain vote I would appreciate it.

One is to enhance liquidity in our partner defi platform Folks Finance by putting idle funds to use as lending deposits.

Another is to make some tweaks to our governance processes to make it more robust and responsive.

Of note, again for any Tinyman Gov members, new proposal, new votes needed:

Using idle treasury assets to build liquidity in our own tiny-paired LPs, strengthen Tiny’s price-action, and build up Algorand’s forth-largest DeFi protocol – all without costing Governance anything at all.
