Evolving Algorand Governance

Tiered rewards have merit…Exchanges need to be kicked out of governance however possible, if defi provides that path than so be it, their long term interests are not aligned with the success of Algorand. Perhaps the long term rewards and Algo distribution schedule could be reworked. Are we at the crux or some crucial moment in time in the race to being a major L1 with the MC to back it up? We had better figure this out soon with all the light the World Cup will bring and potential lookiloos exploring the system.
