I’m not on the team but I suspect there will be more grant requests in the future the needs of the community evolves. All the tools have have already been built have been requested or needed by the community in some way or another. All to make things easier and to reduce pain points.
With how xgov timeline works, to me it makes sense to put forward proposals that are achievable in the same timeframe this whole thing operates on. So instead of proposing for 500k A for everything to be built in one proposal, break it down into manageable pieces and build it out. This way you can stay agile and flexible when the next governance period rolls around.
So if you will, I believe the cohesive vision is to get AF to fund the tools that the community are asking for and finds useful and once said and done, the anyone can expand/improve on said tools as they are open source.
