Community Introduction – AlgoExplorer.info
AlgoExplorer.info was born out of a real need we experienced within the Algorand ecosystem: to create an immutable link for referencing assets, smart contracts, accounts, and transactions on the blockchain.
Its main purpose is simple and practical: to allow official documents — such as traditional contracts, company bylaws, shareholder agreements, and others — to include reliable and long-lasting links to an Asset ID, account address, or transaction on the Algorand network. This link acts as a stable bridge between the document content and public verification via a blockchain explorer.
The motivation came after we suffered a loss during the Startups.Investments project. We had registered blockchain-based ownership in the bylaws of several startups (similar to tokenized shares), using the now-defunct Algo Explorer as the reference explorer. When that explorer was taken offline, we were forced to update all official documents — resulting in bureaucracy and unexpected costs.
That’s when AlgoExplorer.info was created — a simple and efficient redirect solution. Examples:

Today, we have great explorers like Allo Explorer and Pera Wallet Explorer, but we also know that maintaining a full-featured explorer is expensive and comes with sustainability risks. On the other hand, a redirector like AlgoExplorer.info has very low maintenance costs and ensures long-term link stability for documents that rely on blockchain-based verification — especially for use cases involving RWA tokens, governance, and digital identity.
With this solution, even if explorers change in the future, no official documents need to be updated again — we only update the redirect destination behind the scenes, preserving legal validity and usability of the original link.
We hope this tool will be useful for other projects that, like us, use the Algorand blockchain seriously, institutionally, and integrated with the real world.
