Stocks/bonds (RWA) on Algorand?

Hi,

I’ve been building a self-hosted DEX for Algorand as a side project ( GitHub - ByungHyun21/OpenNodia · GitHub ), and I want to add curated sections for stocks, bonds, and stablecoins. Built the exchange — now I’m trying to figure out what’s actually worth listing.

For stocks and bonds (RWA tokens), I already suspect the honest answer is “not much out there” — but figured I’d ask anyway in case I’m missing something. Are there any actual equities or bonds issued on Algorand right now, even at a small scale?

For stablecoins, everyone knows USDC, USDT, and EURS. Are there any others with real liquidity and usage? Other fiat pegs (JPY, KRW, GBP, etc.), commodity-backed, algo stables — anything worth tracking?

Also curious if the Foundation or anyone in the ecosystem has talked about plans for this space — tokenized securities, RWA rails, bringing more stablecoins on-chain, anything like that on the roadmap.

If you know of any issuers, projects, or specific asset IDs worth tracking, I’d appreciate it.

Great to see new builders joining Algorand!

Regarding assets, there are indeed not many. Some you could look into are: GOLD (246516580) and SILVER (246519683) by Meld, and fractions of real estate from Lofty. You could also bridge any token from/to another chain to Algorand via e.g. Wormhole’s NTT bridge. More nieche are also e.g. ABRDN money market fund of Archax, water credits WTR (1675316597) of Hypercube, and solar pannels of Enel.

Regarding the stablecoins, USDT and EURS are unfortunately currently not being issued on Algorand anymore. Another stablecoin is EURD by Quantoz. But note that the use cases of some of these assets might not support free trading on decentralized exchanges.
