What should a multichain mobile wallet prioritize for Algorand?

Hi everyone, I’m Anzus, and I work in Community and Growth at Gem Wallet, an open-source, self-custody multichain wallet.

Gem Wallet currently provides basic support for managing and transferring ALGO and Algorand Standard Assets. I joined the forum to better understand the ecosystem and learn what Algorand users expect from a multichain mobile wallet.

Which capability would make the biggest difference for you: easier ASA management and opt-ins, dApp connectivity, swaps, rekeying, hardware-wallet support, governance or consensus participation, or something else?

I’m especially interested in the difficulties you encounter when using Algorand through a general multichain wallet rather than an Algorand-specific one. I’ll collect the feedback and relay relevant points to our product and development teams.

Thanks—I’m looking forward to learning from the community.

For those who regularly use Algorand wallets, what is the one improvement that would make you consider using a multichain wallet for everyday ALGO and ASA activity?

For example: better asset discovery, clearer ASA opt-in and minimum-balance explanations, dApp connectivity, swaps, governance features, or something else?

Even brief feedback would help identify which gaps matter most to active Algorand users.
