are there some news regarding the xGov?
i see some projects requesting funds at https://xgov.algorand.co/ , however i have not seen any official news regarding this and the treasury there seems to be zero.
I dont see any vote option for the current projects there..
What is the timeline to submit the proposals, vote, and what is the treasury going to be like?
Are there any reports from the xgov council meetings available?

Regarding the total amount in the treasury, the announcement at the top of the forum mentions that the 2026 budget is 3,000,000 ALGO. However, there doesn’t seem to be any information on the budget for Q4 2025.
It’s unclear when Adri will be back, but it seems she is currently on leave, so I expect we will get an answer once she returns.
We’ve had two xgov council meetings with with AF so far, mostly to discuss our impressions and give feedback and suggestions about the process and the platform before it became available to proposers.
We have also discussed topic of keeping and sharing notes on the last meeting and you can expect to see some results of that going forward. Let me just reiterate that currently council has actionable role only at the very end of the xgov process with “veto” power based on TnC and not quality/substance of the proposal itself. Nor does it have any official decision making power regarding xgov platform. We do have ability to suggest changes to the AF/xgov team.
Our next scheduled meeting (council only) is in about a weeks time with plans to discuss all active proposals now that they are available and some other topics such as scope of xgov grants (does it cover asks for maintenance costs and similar). We’ll have more tangible items to share at that point.
