Use Standalone key for signing TXs

Hi guys, I was playing with goal with some wallet addresses (kmd) but i wanted to import an standalone account through a mnemonic key and use it to e.g create some application.

Since I created the wallet with goal wallet new ... I cannot sign a transaction with my standalone key, he keeps asking “enter your wallet pass”. I would like to use goal to create a transaction, output to unsigned file and use goal clerk with a standalone key, not my wallet generated keys.

It is possible? Thank you.

I think i should go with algokey sign

You can use algokey, but you can also import the key into any kmd wallet. It wont be recoverable with the wallet backup phrase but you can always recover the key with the accounts mnemonic.
