[xGov] Failed KYC Verification

I started KYC verification at https://xgov.algorand.co/ and got the following error message at the end:


Unfortunately, we couldn’t verify you

We couldn’t verify your profile because your documents have been submitted on another profile. If you have any questions, contact the company you’re verifying with


I recall doing the same process a few weeks/months ago (I’m not sure exactly, but I think it was for the Pera Explorer), and at that time I didn’t check that option where it asks “Have you started this verification to become a xGov proposer”. Btw, my verification was successful then.

Two KYC attempts using different devices seem to have caused the issue. We have cleared one and invalidated the other, so you now have a valid KYC, which will shortly be approved in the xGov platform.

Tip: always use the same device.

We are looking at KYC daily (Mon-Fri), aiming to be as quick as we can. That being said, I’m taking a small break from tomorrow, returning on 13 Oct. @trekianov will be monitoring this forum whilst I’m unplugged, and handling all approvals.
